The Institute of Energy Technology (IET) announces the organization of the “Energy Auditor” training course in April 2025 for consulting firms, state management agencies, and designated major energy-consuming facilities nationwide.
Opening: April 2025
Training period: April 1 – April 12, 2025
Training program: In accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT)
Application deadline: Before March 26, 2025
Enrollment quota: 40 trainees
100% free training materials
Financial support of VND 1,000,000 per trainee to cover accommodation and living expenses for the entire training period (11 days)
University degree or higher in energy-related fields or relevant engineering disciplines
At least 3 years of working experience in the energy sector
Participants will be trained under the official program of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, including:
Theoretical instruction
Practical training
On-site energy auditing at enterprises
The teaching staff consists of leading experts in the energy sector from the Department of Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Development (MOIT) and Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST).

Comprehensive knowledge of energy auditing, including procedures, regulations, and implementation steps
Proficient use of measurement and testing equipment for energy auditing
Skills to identify, analyze, and evaluate energy-saving opportunities
Ability to propose energy-efficient solutions
Capability to calculate technical and economic efficiency of energy-saving measures
Ability to independently conduct energy audits
Upon completion of the training course and the final qualification examination, participants will be awarded the “Energy Auditor” professional certificate issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, valid nationwide.
