Over the years, the Institute of Energy Technology has carried out hundreds of projects in various fields such as Energy Technology, New Energy, Energy Efficiency Technology, Refrigeration Engineering, Air Conditioning and Ventilation, Thermal Engineering, and equipment systems for thermal power plants, breweries, wastewater treatment systems, drying systems, boiler systems, and compressed air systems across the country.
These projects involve complex technical requirements and high quality standards. After being put into operation, they have been highly appreciated by partners and stakeholders.
1. Applied Research
Collecting and exploiting information; accessing science and technology funding sources; identifying technical issues and science and technology orientations of ministries, governmental agencies, state-owned and private enterprises, and international cooperation projects.
Connecting research groups, research laboratories, experts, and scientists of the Institute with units inside and outside Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) to develop proposals and participate in the selection and bidding of science and technology tasks within the Institute’s specialized fields.
Organizing, managing, implementing, and conducting acceptance and liquidation of signed science and technology tasks.
2. Technology Transfer
Collecting and exploiting information; identifying and accessing projects and works such as consulting, design, appraisal, supervision, auditing, and energy-saving solutions in the fields of Energy, Mechanical Engineering, and Transportation Systems for ministries, governmental agencies, and state-owned and private enterprises.
Organizing and connecting experts and scientists of the Institute with other units of HUST to implement assigned tasks.
3. Innovative Technology Research
Organizing, developing, managing, and operating activities in accordance with the Institute’s strategic research orientations.
Establishing and managing the Institute’s research laboratories.
Proposing, developing, supplementing, exploiting, and expanding experimental equipment systems; organizing implementation, coordinating human resources, and planning the execution of strategic research directions.
4. Education and Human Resource Development
Coordinating with other units of HUST to propose, develop, review, appraise, and implement advanced postgraduate training programs aligned with international standards.
Organizing, managing, and operating short-term, non-degree training programs that are practical and up to date for ministries, governmental agencies, organizations, corporations, and state-owned and private enterprises.
